The Research Relations team is a cross school team which supports the School of Physical Sciences and the School of Technology. The remit of the team is to increase the success of large grant applications led by researchers from these two Schools.
The team provides the following:
- Support for leading large grant applications
- Raising awareness of funder strategies and funding calls as well as providing opportunities for researchers to connect with funders and influence their strategic direction
- Training, guidance and resources related to major funding opportunities
- Support and coordination of School strategic research activities
We work closely with department research support teams, the Research Strategy Office, Research Operations Office and other research facilitation teams across the university.
