There are useful teams within the university to support you to embed policy and other user engagement activities into your application. These include the following:

 

CSAP

The Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP – www.csap.cam.ac.uk) offers a wide range of standard and bespoke services to help researchers and policymakers engage in:

  1. inspiring new research and policy development
  2. bringing research evidence and analysis to public policy development
  3. co-creating impacts for the benefit of society.

Public Engagement

The Public Engagement team (https://www.cam.ac.uk/public-engagement/the-public-engagement-team ) provide help and support in public engagement work, from finding funding, to advising on the approach, to offering you opportunities to engage. The team also provides training, access to a network of engaged researchers as well as a public engagement starter fund.

IfM Engage

IfM Engage (https://engage.ifm.eng.cam.ac.uk/)  partners with organisations across industry, government and academia to support them in solving complex challenges, using approaches and knowledge developed at the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), a division of the University of Cambridge’s Department of Engineering. IfM Engage can help support roadmapping, strategic planning and managing large stakeholder groups in all areas of manufacturing.
